SERFLO 25+125 MICROGRAM PER ACTUATION PRESSURIZED INHALATION
Seroflo inhaler 25/125mcg (Salmeterol+Fluticasone propionate) is a combination of two medications useful for the regular long-term treatment and management of reversible obstructive airways problem, like: Asthma, where a combination drug is considered appropriate. This includes: patients already taking a combination medication, or taking an inhaled preventer medication but are not sufficiently controlled or maintained and are still having symptoms, or patients taking a reliever drug as needed, to cure symptoms of asthma, but are not adequately or sufficiently controlled. Seroflo 25/125mcg (salmeterol+fluticasone) inhalers should not be used for severe asthma as a (reliever) for asthma attacks. Seroflo inhaler 25/125mcg is also prescribed for diagnosis of moderate to severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Which is a non-reversible obstructive airways problem. The combination of drugs in seroflo 25/125mcg inhaler functions together to provide better control of asthma to save against symptoms, stop exacerbations of asthma attack or COPD and improve lung function.
SEROFLO 25/125MCG INHALER: INGREDIENTS:
Seroflo inhaler 25/125mcg is a metered dose inhaler (MDI) that involves the composition of salmeterol xinafoate a bronchodilator 25mcg, and fluticasone propionate 125mcg, a corticosteroid prescribed in combination to diagnosed asthma attack and COPD. Every dose contains 25mcg salmeterol xinafoate and 125mcg fluticasone propionate. It also involve the non-CFC propellant norflurane (called HFA tetrafluoroethane), which provide 25mcg salmeterol and 125mcg fluticasone as an aerosol into your lungs every time your actuate (press down) your inhaler. Every inhaler involves 120 actuations doses.
SEROFLO INHALER 25MCG+125MCG (SALMETEROL+FLUTICASONE PROPIONATE): HOW TO WORK
Seroflo inhaler 25/125 mcg (salmeterol+fluticasone propionate) consists of combination of two drugs that function by different mechanisms of action to maintain obstructive airways problem in asthma attack and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Fluticasone in seroflo 125mcg inhaler is a corticosteroid and anti-inflammatory drug that prevents inflammation. One of the underlying causes of asthma. This is a preventative drug and functions by inhibiting the generat of inflammatory chemicals released in the airways in response to asthma escalate, like: Irritants in the air or allergens, decrease inflammation and swelling of the airways. Salmeterol is a long-acting beta-agonist and bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles of the small airways of the lungs (bronchioles) to expand the airways. This decreases bronchospasm (constriction or the airways) relieving symptoms of asthma attack like: heavy of the chest, wheezing and shortness of breath and provides relief for up to 10 to 12 hours. Fluticasone and salmeterol in seroflo inhaler 25/125mcg are delivered in an aerosol directly into the bronchioles of the lung and function together to enhance lung function, and to decrease symptoms and exacerbations of asthma attack.
